The Bentley Parent School Council is an active group that promotes working with the school community to provide a quality education in a caring environment for our students.
Regular meetings are held the third Thursday of each month from September through May (excluding December) at 7:00 p.m. in the Bentley High School library. The annual meeting is the September meeting. Meetings are open to anyone interested in the local school system and especially all parents/guardians of students from ECS through grade 12.
Friends of Bentley Nursery School operate in the Bentley Elementary School during the school year. Information regarding the play school can be obtained by calling Linda Schneider at (403) 748-4183.
Library
Bentley Municipal Library, located at 5014 - 49 Avenue, offers a wide array of reading material and computers for general public use. Their hours of operation are as follows:
Monday: Closed
Tuesday: 10:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Wednesday: 1:00p.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Thursday: 2:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Friday: 2:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Saturday: 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

The Bentley Library Society, also sometimes referred to as the Friends of the Bentley Municipal Library, is a non-profit society started in August 2002. It is made up of a group of volunteers whose aim is to promote, support, and help maintain the Bentley Municipal Library's facility, programs, and requests for assistance. There is an Annual Meeting on or before May 1 of each year. Membership is open to any person residing in and around the Bentley area.
The Society's annual major fundraiser is hosting of a dinner theatre each fall that includes a live play by a hired troupe of performers, a catered buffet-style supper, with cocktails prior and a cash bar, all stated in the Blindman Valley Agricultural Centre. It is open to all adults who purchase tickets.
The Society also raises money by taking its' turn serving lunches during the local Bentley Farmers' Market season and by making and selling baked goodie trays and miscellaneous items during the local Christmas Farmers' Market. The working of a casino through Alberta Gaming is applied for regularly.

Bentley Care Centre
This is a long term care facility under the governing body of the David Thompson Health Region.
The Care Centre is located at 4834 - 52nd Avenue. The telephone number is 748-4115.
Walk-in Clinic
Sylvan Lake Medical Clinic provides staff for the medical clinic at the Care Centre. You can reach them at 748-3688 to book an appointment. Office hours are Wednesday (6:00 to 9:00 p.m.), Thursday (9:00 a.m. to 12:00) and Saturday (9:00 a.m. to 12:00).
Chiropractor
The Bentley Chiropractic Health Centre, located at 4941 - 50 Avenue, has one chiropractor and one massage therapist. The practice was established in 1994. We have a holistic outlook toward better health and wellness and offer a relaxed but professional attitude in the clinic. Pharmacy
The Bentley I.D.A. Pharmacy is staffed by two pharmacists and provide a twenty-four hour emergency service to the community. The Drugstore is located at 5018 - 50 Avenue. Their telephone number is 748-3820 or 748-3314, after hours.

Hospital, doctors, dentists, optometrists, or any other medical service you may require is within fifteen minutes in any direction from Bentley. Lacombe, Sylvan Lake and Rimbey provide full medical services and Red Deer is a half hour drive from Bentley.
